ABU Alumni Association, kogi,postones meeting in honour of late member,Hon.Allah Dey.

Members of ABU Alumni Association, kogi state branch, have postponed their monthly meeting, scheduled for November 7,2024 in honor of one their pioneer members, Hon.Mustaph Allah Dey, who passed on on Wednesday in Lokoja, kogi state,during an illness.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Secretary of the branch, Yahaya Aminu Maihakuri and a copy available to The Reporters in Lokoja on Thursday.

Maihakuri said:”Following the sudden demise of one of our committed members, late Hon Allah Dey Mustapha, the general meeting for the month of November scheduled for Thursday,7th November, 2024 has been regrettably postponed as a mark of honour and respect for him.

“Given the circumstances, we feel the need to shift the meeting to a more suitable time.

“We deeply and sincerely apologize for any disruption and inconveniences that might result from the postponement. “We also appreciate your understanding during this challenging time.

“While we greatly honour and recognise his significant contribution to the Association, we wish the deceased an eternal peace.
“Farewell, Allah Dey Mustapha!”
Our correspondent reports that efforts are on, by members of the branch, to pay a condolence visit to the family of the late Hon.Allah Dey, by 5 p.m on Thursday in Lokoja.
