ABU Alumni Association Expresses Sympathy to Family of Deceased Member

The National and Kogi state branch executive councils of the ABU Alumni Association on Thursday paid a condolence visit to the family of  one  of the foundation members of the Kogi branch, Hon. Mustapha Allah Dey.

Hon. Allah Dey, 65, a former member of the Kogi State House of Assembly representing Lokoja 1 Constituency, passed away on Tuesday in Lokoja following an illness, according to family sources.

The delegation was led by the Secretary General , World Wide of the Association,Dr. Danjuma Mahmud, and the chairman of the Kogi State branch, Engr. Mohammed Sagir.

In his message to the deceased’s widow, Engr. Sagir expressed the branch’s condolences and encouraged her to remain strong, reminding her that death is the inevitable end for all. He described the late Hon. Allah Dey as a kind and easygoing individual who made significant contributions to the establishment and growth of the Kogi branch of the alumni association.

Engr. Sagir prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal peace in Aljanna Firdaus and to give his family the strength to bear the loss.

The prayer was echoed by Mal. Abdulrahman Suleiman, Assistant Secretary of the Kogi branch, who also prayed for the repose of the deceased’s soul.

Earlier, Dr. Danjuma Mahmud, in his condolence message, praised the late Allah Dey as “a distinguished alumnus and an active member of the Kogi branch.”

“May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljanna Firdaus. Aamin,” Dr. Mahmud prayed.
