The wife of Kogi State Governor, Hajia Sefinat Usman Ododo, has congratulated the newly elected council chairmen, vice chairmen, and councillors in the state. She described the emergence of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates as the will of God and a reflection of the dedication of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration to serving the people.

Mrs. Ododo urged the new officials to focus on ensuring that the people at the local government level benefit more from the dividends of democracy. She wished them a successful tenure, emphasizing the importance of grassroots impact and faster development in their areas, as envisioned by the governor.

She encouraged the chairmen to prioritize infrastructure development, healthcare, education, and inclusive governance. Mrs. Ododo expressed confidence in their ability to address key areas like women and youth empowerment, which would improve the livelihoods of vulnerable groups.
