Tragedy:Akwa Ibom First Lady Patience Umo Eno Passes Away.

The wife of the governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, has passed away.

She died on Thursday in a hospital following an illness, with her family by her side.

The Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Information, Ini Ememobong, announced her passing in a statement released early Friday morning.

β€œIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Her Excellency, Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, following an illness. She passed away peacefully at the hospital on September 26, 2024, surrounded by her family,” he said.

The family expressed their acceptance of the situation and requested prayers and support during this challenging time.

They also asked for privacy as they mourn their beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.

Governor Pastor Umo Eno extended his gratitude to those who have supported the family and assured citizens of his continued commitment to serving the state, despite this profound personal loss. Further details will be shared by the family as appropriate.
