Dangote Refinery Begins Fuel Lifting,Sept 15.

The much-awaited fuel lifting from the Dangote Refinery is scheduled to started on tomorrow, September 15, 2024 with about 300 trucks from the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) stationed at the facility.

The NNPC spokesperson Olufemi Soneye confirmed that the trucks are arriving in advance of the planned petrol loading, a development he described as manifestation of a key step towards Nigeria’s goal of fuel self-sufficiency.

Our correspondent gathered that by the end of Sunday, September 15, the refinery’s fuel loading gantry is expected to be fully operational as the trucks prepare to distribute the refined products nationwide.

This development, the online publication further gathered,comes as a welcome relief to Nigerians who have been eagerly anticipating the start of fuel lifting from the Dangote Refinery.

They described the development as a significant force in the country’s oil and gas industry.

Most Nigerians are already sighing a relief with a sense of optimism that the development will be a lasting phenomenal and beneficial to them, social and economically.

Residents in Lokoja told The Reporters that they cannot wait to see prices of petrol on down word trend as a result of the fuel lifting deal between Dangote Refinery and NNPCL, in a chat with our correspondent on Sunday.
