Kogi Unity Movement elects pioneer exco

The acting president of KUM, Alhaji Aliyu Osheiza Yussuff handling over the constitution and certificate of the union to the new president.

 

 

 

Members of Kogi Unity Movement, KUM,on Tuesday in Lokoja, inaugurated a pioneer executive council to pilot the affairs of the movement for four years.The new exco has Yusuf Omuya Ahmadu as president, Folashade Johnson, General Secretary,Jubril Oyeyemi Yahaya,Dep.General Secretary, Chief Nicholas Okpanachi, Treasurer,Mal.Yahaya Ibn Yusuf, Publicity Secretary and Alhaji Mohammed Zakari.

Other exco embers also include;HajiyaRekiya Idris,Mal.Hassan Usman Umar,Tobitha Ajuma. A, Mr.Olu Adeboye, Auditor, Chief Kayode Olorinshuwa, Mohammed Jubril Dansabe, Welfare and Mal.Aliyu Osheiza Yussuff, Zonal chairman (central).

Others are:Engr.Joseph Atteh Bello, Zonal chairman (West), Amb.Ibrahim Rufus Usman, Hajia Salamatu Aliyu and Zonal Woman  Coordinator (central),Hajia Bikisu.

The president thanked members for reposing confidence in the ability of the exco to lead the movement and promised that the exco would not betray the confidence.

He called for member’s cooperation and unity to enable the exco to achieve its aims and objectives in line with that of KUM.

Our correspondent reports that KUM as the name implies compromises of members from the three Senatorial districts of the state. It was formed about a year ago to unite and help members in various ways towards achieving success in their various social and economic activities.
