Members of the Ebira Avaibe Association,EAA, in Lokoja, Kogi State, have praised Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for appointing two of their own as special assistants on local government affairs.
They gave the commendation given during the association’s weekly meeting on Sunday in Lokoja.
The members expressed their approval of Ododo’s governance approach, which emphasizes grassroots inclusion to strengthen democracy and address rural issues.
They urged the newly appointed aides to represent the association effectively and support Ododo’s commitment to good governance.
The meeting also acknowledged the role of former Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello in supporting Ododo’s ascension to the governorship and his electoral victory.
Attendees called on Kogites to avoid politically divisive interactions that could threaten the state’s peace and development.
They emphasized the importance of unity and mutual support within the association to achieve its welfare-focused goals.
Hon. Musa Akaba, Chairman of the association, praised members for their increased attendance and engagement tont in the meeting.
