,,,,Leaves After Interrogation Over Financing Terrorism.

By Goodluck Ikiebe.

The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, says its President, Joseph Ajaero, on Thursday ,left the Nigeria Police Force after being quizzed over allegations of financing terrorism and other offences.

Our correspondent gathered that Ajaero proceeded to the Police Station shortly after some leaders of the Union and the legal team of NLC, headed by Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana, addressed members of different organs of the Unions that converged on the labour house in solidarity.

The Union had earlier appealed to the Nigeria Police force to give it more time to consult with its lawyers before Joseph Ajaero would honour the police invitation.

The Reporters recalls that the Police had granted the NLC’s the request and fixed August 29 for its President to honour the invitation.

Ajaero, who reportedly kept mum after seeing the Police, assured journalists that he would address them soon.
