In another operation, troops arrested Tiv Militia members Fidelis Nyitar and Isaiah Ioraa along Road Takum – Katsina Ala.

They were enroute to procure supplies for militia operations. On 21 August 2024, Mela Selim, a suspected Tiv Militia kingpin, was arrested for the murder of the Chief of Chanchangi.

While patrolling Lissam in Ussa LGA, troops successfully repelled a terrorist ambush, recovering weapons and motorcycles.
