Suspects Apologize to Kogi First Lady, Released After Investigation into Alleged Fraudulent Act.

Three men and one woman, arrested on Tuesday in Lokoja by the police for allegedly using the Kogi First Lady’s name in a fraudulent scheme have written apology to her,promised to amend their behavior and were subsequently released.

The suspects, whose names are being withheld, were seen leaving the Quick Response Squad (QRS) office in Lokoja around 7:45 p.m. on Friday, accompanied by relatives and friends.

They were accused of selling empowerment forms to unsuspecting members of the public, falsely linking the transaction to the First Lady.

According to our correspondent, the police received information about the scam, conducted an undercover operation, arrested the suspects, and brought them to the QRS office for interrogation.
