LGA boss,kidnapped in security building in kogi, regains freedom.

The Chairman, caretaker committee of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of kogi state, Barr. Zacchaeus Micheal, kidnapped by unknown gunmen with some of his aides in a security building he initiated in Kabba on Friday ,has regained freedom.

The Police Public Relations Officer PPRO for the Police Command in the state,SP.William Ovie Aya, who disclosed this in a telephone interview with our correspondent in Lokoja on Saturday said the chairman regained his freedom Saturday morning.

He added that while the chairman escaped from the kidnappers,his aides were not so lucky as they were still being held in kidnappers’ cap activity but assured that the police and other security agencies were making conscious efforts to free the aides.

According to Aya ,the Commissioner of police,CP. Bernard Onuoha, has deployed officers for search and rescue mission, adding that the command “,is the top of the situation”.
