The Egbiras, formerly known and addressed as Ebiras,are one of the over 250 tribes in Nigeria,West Africa.

Being extractions of the 17th century, one-time famous kwararafa kingdom in West Africa, they are found mainly in four states in Nigeria: Kogi, Nasarawa,Plateau and Edo States.
