The recent reappointment of the legal luminary, Barrister S.M.Deedat Ozigi, as the Commissioner for Local government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Kogi State, is a glowing testament of his sterling stewardship scorecards in leadership capacity over the years.
True,in Kogi State politics today,his name is synonymous with credible disposition and trustworthiness in the discharge of of his enormous responsibility as the overseer of the third-tier organ of government and the traditional institutions in the state.
Indeed, Barrister Ozigi, has distinguished himself as one of the disciples of the immediate past governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, who wears loyalty and integrity as a barge of honour.
In both his former office as the Commissioner for Water resources and the present position in charge of Local government and Chieftaincy Affairs, the amiable Commissioner has always committed himself to meritorious service and visionary leadership to the admiration of stakeholders in the state.
His giant strides and imprints in both Ministries are recorded on the sand of times.
Little wonder therefore,that he has been receiving accolades and commendations from members of ALGON and the traditional institutions in the state, since his reappointment into the cabinet of the government of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman.
The man Barrister Ozigi has made bold statement and the difference,as an iconic grassroots politician that fully subscribes to the ideals of good governance and purposeful leadership in the state.
He is indeed,tested and trusted.
The sky is his starting point in Nigeria’s political firmament as he continues on the path of honour and selfless leadership to the good people of the state.
