Okemgwe Development Association (ODA) Lokoja, the mouth piece of the good people of Okengwe District, Kogi Senatorial district, has congratulated Hajia Habibat Tijani Onumoko over her appointment as the new and first female Kogi State Accountant General, AG.
ODA in its congratulatory message signed Engr. Stephen Raji , the Coordinator, described Onumoko’s appointment and for being the first female Accountant General since the creation of the state on August 27,1991 as well deserved .
He said: “The ODA Lokoja notes with total happiness that your new appointment to the exalted position is based on your total dedication to duties, uprightness, hard work.
“It is also due to your resourcefulness, fairness, dexterity and absolute loyalty to the constituted authority of the New Direction Government in Kogi State.
“The Association is most grateful to Almighty God and New Direction Government of Alhaji Dr. Yahaya Bello, CON, the uncommon leader and the Executive Governor of Kogi state, who is nationally recognized and relevant.
“We also thank the Governor-elect. Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, FCNA, for appointing one of our illustrious daughters of repute as the first female accountant general of Kogi State.”
ODA expressed optimism that as a professional accountant of repute, it has no doubt that the new accountant general would definitely bring her wealth of experience to bear in discharging her responsibilities with justice, fairness and equity.
“It is our fervent prayers that, God in His infinite mercies, will grant your family members and your good self the wisdom, knowledge, capability and good health to pilot the affairs of the office of the Accountant General Kogi State to greater heights.
“Our unflinching support to the outgoing Governor Alhaji Dr. Yahaya Bello CON, and the Governor-elect, Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, (FCNA)’s dynamic administration will always be assured.
