The National body of the Ahmadu Bello University ,ABU,Alumni Association, on Monday, felicitated with the Publisher of The Reporters who is also the Public Relations Officer of its kogi state branch,Alhaji Dada.U Ahmed,the on his 64th birthday in Lokoja.
The Secretary General of the Association,Worldwide,Dr.Danjuma Mahmud, in a statement by him,described Alhaji Ahmed as a distinguished Alumnus of the Association,adding that the Association celebrated was delighted to celebrate him at the auspicious time of his life.
Dr.Mahmud recalled that the celebrant:”Was the pioneer PRO of Kogi and Nasarawa branches and currently the PRO of Kogi branch for a second term.
“His contributions to the ABU Alumni Association, then and even now, as a retired veteran journalist, are immeasurable.
“We rejoice with you today and pray for you to live long in good health, happiness and divine blessings, congratulations.”
Our correspondent reports that Alhaji Ahmed, who is also a member of the national body of the PROs of the Association, is a 1988 graduate of ABU,Zaria.
