The Rector,Kogi state Polytechnic,Lokoja, Dr.Salisu Ogbo Usman,his address during press briefing marking the commencement of activities 4th combined convocation ceremonies of the institution.
He said his management had introduced 3M: To Repair,Reform and Restore to bring back the lost glory of the polytechnic, as well as e-exam and stamped out cultism and all forms of criminality in the institution.
Established Directorate of legal services, constructed students hostels and other infrastructural facilities among others.

Ogbo, who disclosed that the polytechnic would graduating a total of 12,080 graduates from 2014 to 2023, comprising of 7,653 for OND and 4,427 for HND in various courses, expressed the resolve of the polytechnic in producing graduates capable of using their brain and hands for self reliance and be employer of labour.
He later led journalists and other invited guests on tour of Pavilion where students of the institution produced various products, ranging from adire,necklace and other fashion materials of various types bottled water,ICT among others.
