Summit University,Offa conferms Honorary Phd on Dr. Engr. Balogun,Hon.Ogunniyi felicitates.

Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Education & Human Capital Development,Kwara State House of Assembly,has congratulated Dr. Engr. Moshood Kola Balogun for the conferment of Honorary Doctorate Degree (Honoris Causa),by Summit University, Offa, Kwara state.
In a statement made available to The Reporters from Offa on Thursday, the legislator described the recipient as an unrelenting visionary innovator and incurable optimistic.
He said:”I join family, friends and business associates of Engineer (Dr.) Moshood Kola Balogun who was conferred with the award of Honorary doctorate degree (Honoris Causa) by Summit University, Offa, Kwara State, Nigeria on 7th December 2023 at the university campus in Offa, Kwara State, Nigeria.
“I am excited about the many accomplishments of Engr. (Dr.) Kola Balogun. He is a visionary and accomplished business tycoon with whom I enjoy a very unique and productive personal and business relationship over the years. Engr. (Dr.) Kola Balogun’s strong sense of vision about what he believes and purpose in life is uncommon and endearing to all.
“He is a man who has risen from a very low and humble background into the pinnacle of business and professional success by his dint of hard work, perseverance, commitment and of course, by a good measure of God’s grace and mercy.
“Beyond his pioneering work in electricity metering solutions in Nigeria, he is equally a pioneer and trail blazer in the drive for our national self sufficiency in security and defence capabilities. “This rare honour done on him by Summit University, Offa, Kwara State, is not a surprise.
“It is well earned and very much well deserved.
“I am equally glad that he shared the platform of honour with other great and accomplished Nigerians like Alhaji (Dr.) Sulaiman Adegunwa OFR and Alhaji (Dr.) Lateef Femi Okunnu SAN CON who both also received the conferment of the honorary doctorate degree from Summit University, Offa, same day.
“I also extend my hearty congratulations to The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof Abiodun Musa Aibinu for attracting such an intellectual inquisitive and academically curious minds like Engr. Kola Balogun into the honours list of the university. This definitely is a plus and value adding to the institution.
