In what seems like a continuing culture of affinity for heights, the Executive Chairman of Kogi State Internal Revenue Service (KGIRS), Alhaji Salihu Sule Enehe, has added another feather to his existing ones, as he just graduated from the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) in Kuru, Jos, Nigeria. This is the highest policy formulation Institute in Nigeria by repute.
Alhaji Salihu Sule Enehe who graduated together with his Technical Assistant, Mr. Rahman Nasir Ichanyi, are now members of the Institute.
This achievement is a great plus, not to KGIRS alone but to Kogi State, and to Nigeria at large. It will enable the two topnotch resourceful individuals in the Kogi Revenue Service to enhance the revenue generation of the State through their high intellectual capacities and experiences gathered at the Institute.
The Executive Chairman will, no doubt, put in place innovative and dynamic policies and strategies critical for the advancement of the Kogi State Internal Revenue Service.
The Chairman is an energetic, self-driven, creative, resourceful, forward-looking professional with an extensive work experience in both public and private sectors of Nigeria. He is an alumnus of Achievers University, Owo, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting (Forensic), Masters of Science Degree in Accounting from Salem University, Lokoja, Masters in Business Administration (MBA) (Financial Management) from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso.
In his quest for more knowledge and self-development, he is also presently pursuing his PhD Degree in Accounting at University of Nigeria, Nsukka, accompanied with several local and international seminars and training.
He has expertise in the following fields; Accounting and Financial Advisory, Auditing and Investigation (Forensic), Tax Services and Advisory, Public Sector Reform and Analysis, Business Process and Re-engineering.
Sule Salihu Enehe is a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), Fellow of Chartered institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCTI) and Associate of Risk Management Academy (ARMA), and member chartered institute of forensic auditors and investigators.
Career wise, he has over 25 years of work experience across five different organisations in Nigeria.
He was a Director of Tax Audit and Compliance, which, at interval, he also became the Director of Finance and Accounts with the Kogi State Internal Revenue Service before his current position as the Executive Chairman of the organisation.
Also, Mr. Rahman Nasir Ichanyi, the Head of Strategic Audit Unit, is currently a Manager with the Kogi State Internal Revenue Service. He also doubles as the Technical Assistant (TA) to the current Executive Chairman of the Service.
He is an agile, adventurous, innovative, brilliant, progressive professional, with an extensive work experience in both public and private sectors of Nigeria.
He is an alumnus of Dorben Polytechnic, Abuja, with Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Salem University, Lokoja, with Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, Masters of Science Degree in Accounting (MSC) from same University.
In his quest for more knowledge and self-development, he is presently pursuing his PhD Degree in Accounting at the prestigious Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, Kogi State, Nigeria, along with several local and international seminars and training.
He has expertise in the following fields: Technical Services and Advisory, a Member of Staff, Screening Review Committee by Governor Yahaya Bello, Public Sector Reforms and Analysis, Business Process and Re-engineering.
Nasir Rahman Ichanyi is a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria (FICEN), an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Fellow of Chartered Institute of Personnel Managers and Administrators of Nigeria (FCIPMAN), Fellow, Chartered Institute of Contract Project and Facility Management, (FCICPF), Fellow, African Institute of Strategic Management (FAISM), and Fellow, Chartered Institute of Loan, and Risk Management (FCILR), and member chartered institute of forensic auditors and investigators.
Career wise, he has over 20 years of work experience across different sections of organisations in Nigeria.
He was also a team lead at the KGIRS Directorate of Tax Audit and Compliance. He is currently the Head of Strategic Audit Unit and Technical Assistant ( TA) to the Executive Chairman of Kogi State Internal Revenue Service.
