The late Mohbad.
Next level to take in group where hatred becomes tangible–broad journalist urges.
An Abuja-based broadcast journalist, Mrs.Rafat Idris Salami, has urged people, especially youths, to stay out of any group where hatred becomes tangible that they could not cope with.
She gave the advice in her Facebook page while reacting the death of a promising Nigerian musician, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly called Mohbad in the entertainment industry.
Salami wrote:” Please, when you are in a group and the hatred becomes tangible, excuse yourself. Yes. They will laugh at you. Yes. They will mock you. “They will even attempt to cancel you. They will even go within your inner circle to groom someone else just to convince themselves that you were the bad person. Keep your peace and build yourself. Heaven will eventually smile at you, because God is Just.
“From all that I have read about the unfortunate passing of MohBad, he obviously grew up in a toxic and dysfunctional home.
“Poor boy. No wonder he didn’t a get a good understanding of how deeply he was resented as he kept hoping that his group will validate him.
“Poor child. Obviously his father was also not in a position to offer the type of support the young lad needed by first removing him or helping him to escape from that toxic environment.
“Poor child. He didn’t understand that those who hate, will keep hating and there is nothing you can do to change their minds, except of course, you kpai like they did him.
“Poor child. He made several reports to the police but even the police would not have been able to help him, except he took that first step of disengaging from the toxic group.
“Poor child. we’ve lost him forever. ”
Our correspondent recalls that the young rapper died on Sept. 12, 2023, aged, 27 in an hospital in Lagos while receiving medical attention.
His death is shrouded in controversy sparking eyebrow and questions from members of the public in Nigeria and beyond, even as the police wades in to unearth the circumstances surrounding his demise.
