NASIEC releases time-table for 2024 local government election.

Nasarawa state Independent Electoral Commission (NASIEC) has released the time table for the conduct of Local government Election in state scheduled for From Willy Punvwet Lafia.
The Nasarawa state Independent Electoral Commission ( NASIEC) has released the time table for the conduct of Local Government Election in state scheduled for August 31,2024.
Briefing news men at the NASIEC Secretariat in Lafia on Friday, the chairman of the commission, Barr. Ayuba Wandai Usman, disclosed that n Saturday August 31, 2024 said that the tenure of the present crop of councils Chairmen Would elapse on Monday 7th, October, 2024.
Barr. Usman explained that the inter party Advisory Council in the state had demonstrated maturity and exemplified peace and decorum in it’s affairs which he noted, paved way for a conducive political atmosphere in the state.
The NASIEC boss maintained that the commission, being a law abiding institution, would continue to promote adherence to laws, rules and regulations governing the conduct of Local Government Councils Elections in the state.
Barr. Usman praised the role of media practitioners in projecting the commission’s activities and expressed the hope that such spirit of co operations would continue to prevail for the benefit of both parties.

He said the tenure of the present crop of councils Chairmen in the state would elapse on Monday 7th, October, 2024 after exhausting their three years tenure.
