What makes marriage lasting,peaceful–Widow.

Couples in Nigeria have been advised to imbibe the spirit of positive communication as the soul of dialogue that ensures lasting and peaceful marriage.

Lady Christiana Ofugara,gave the advice at the traditional marriage between Pst. Emmanuel Salau, Senior Pastor, God’s Life Wonders,Asaba and Erica Erute in Warri, Delta state,south south Nigeria on Friday.
The lady also urged the couple to allow forgiveness be the principle that lubricates their marriage,adding that the positive outcome of such peaceful living would replicate to boost peace in the larger society.

The widow, who noted that wives could be on the wrong side of friction in the family,at times, called on the husbands to exercise patient with them to allow peace to take control.
“Do not eat word and vomit it, remain calm always and love yourselves as well as your respective family.
She particularly called on the wife to love the family her husband in order to elicit their whole hearted acceptable and love as well.
Lady Ofuraga assured the new couple that when they thread on the line of peace in their married life, they would always produce morally upright children, adding that the family as a unit of the society and the country would better for it.


Our correspondent reports that Chief Hope Erudite,from Delta state who is the father of the wife and Mal.Salau, the father of the husband,from Kogi State,prayed for the peace, good health and the development in the life of the new couple.

Chief Erute said the marriage begins the everlasting relationship and unity his family and his in laws in Kogi state and admonished the couple to let love be the major factor that would fine their marital relationship.

The occasion was attended by the families of the couple.
