The remarkable and cheerful sisters, known as Mopelola Makinde, Oluwaseun Makinde, and Oluwafunmilayo Makinde said they were inspired by their father, Captain Wale Makinde, a veteran helicopter pilot who works with the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.
Mopelola and Oluwaseun are Helicopter Pilots, while Oluwafunmilayo is a fixed-wing Pilot.

The 3 sisters are actively flying and are happily married. Their father, Capt. Wale Makinde is a native of Ondo town, Ondo State.
