Pioneer Chairman,ICEN, kogi chapter,promises cooperation with govt for sound economic policy formulation.

Mr.Nasir Rahman Ichanyi, (middled),Chairman,ICEN,Kogi State Chapter.

The New Chairman,Institute of Chartered Economist Of Nigeria, ICEN, Kogi State Chapter, Mr.Nasir Rahman Ichanyi says the institute under his watch will help Government in the state in formulating sound economic policies that would have positive impact on the lives of the people.

He made the promise in his inaugural speech in Lokoja, shortly after the official inauguration of the State Executive of the institute at the conference room of the Local Government Service Commission.

Mr Ichanyi said: “In the face of the current economic effects of the removal of fuel subsidy, the professional opinions of Economist are invaluable to keep the economic balance between survival and spending power of the people”

“In charting the way forward on measures to put in place to cushion the effects of the economy,we are confident that the application of these times-and-Season-proof economic principles will come in handy to keep the country far from the shores of economic recession”

He noted that though the the kogi State Chapter of the institute is relatively new, he and his team were determined to nurture the institute from infancy into a full blown institute to be reckoned with.

He pledged that “the high level of professionalism shall be deployed to cater for the growth needs of the institute in accordance with world standard.”
