My substantive appointment,boost to revenue generation, blessing to staff welfare— KGIRS boss

Alhaji Salihu Sule Enehe,the newly confirmed Executive Chairman,Kogi State Internal Revenue (KGIRS),says his substantive appointment translates to greater boost for revenue generation by the Service,and enhancement to dividends of democracy to the people of the state.

The Reporters recalls that Governor Yahaha Bello confirmed the appointment of Enehe last week.

The Executive Chairman, who gave the assurance in a telephone interview with our Correspondent in Lokoja on Monday, also assured the staff of enhanced welfare package to spur them into greater productivity.

He said” It is a motivation to me and the staff, in terms of improved productivity and increase in salaries and other emoluments.

“I will use it to galvanise the staff for for continued efforts to ensure increase in revenue generation,for us to deliver on out mandate.”

He said that the Service had conducted interview for staff due for promotion, promising that those that qualified for promotion would get their letter latest by April this year and get gingered to do more for the state.

The Executive Chairman appreciated Governor Bello for considering him worthy for the confirmation of his appointment, promising that he would not betray the trust and confidence reposed in him.

“I am very much grateful to the Executive Governor of the state for considering me worthy to occupy that seat,” he added.
