The Federal University Lokoja chapter of the Union stated this while staging solidarity protest round the Adankolo campus of the Institution on Tuesday.

The Reporters gathered that the dons had held emergency congress before embarking on a peaceful demonstration, carrying placards with various inscriptions and marched through the campus gate to the surrounding environs.
Some of the inscriptions read; “Say no to casualisation of lecturers,”Ngige must go, Okija shrine awaits you,” “Pay our 8 months salaries,” “stop playing politics with our education”.”We are not casual workers,” among others.
The Chairman of the branch, Dr Joshua Silas, who addressed journalists after the protest, said the way Federal Government, represented by the three ministers, revealed clearly that they were out to destroy public universities.
