Pharm. Ozigi emerges first executive secretary,Kogi Drug Management Agency (DMA)

The Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello,has approved the appointment of Pharmacist Mahmoud Ozigi as the Pioneer Executive Secretary, Kogi State Drug Management Agency (DMA).

The appointment letter, signed by the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State , Dr. Folashade Arike Ayoade, extended the congratulations and assurances of the governor to the new Executive Secretary and urged him to carry out his functions with renewed zeal, commitment and dedication.

The appointment takes effect from 28th of September, 2022.

Pharmacist Mahmoud Ozigi is a fellow of the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacist (FWAPCP) since 2010.

He is a Consultant Pharmacist who specializes in Social and Administrative Pharmacy and has been a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (MPSN) with over 20 years’ experience in hospital drug management and dispensing, drug sale and marketing, drug production and manufacturing of pharmaceutical products.

Pharm Ozigi’s skills set includes Leadership, Innovation and Management, Healthcare Provision and Social Health Management, Pharmaceutical care, Effective Communication and Advocacy, Human Resource Management, Brand Management and Solution Driven System among many others

Prior to his new appointment, he served as Consultant to both government and private organizations.

He was former National General Manager, TYONEX Pharmaceutical Limited and the Managing Director of AMMAN Pharmaceutical before his appointment as ES.

He has attended both local and international courses in London, Dubai among others.
