2023: Kogi NUJ organises media parley for party candidates

Journalists in Kogi State have put in place media parley for National Assembly candidates of various political parties in the state warming for 2023 general elections.

A statement from the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Kogi State Council, indicates that the maiden edition of the programme will kick-start, 10 a.m on Monday at the NUJ Press Centre, Lokoja with High Chief Peter Ameh, candidate of the Labour Party(LP) for Ankpa Federal Constituency.

Jerry Ocheme, the Chairman of the Parley Committee,who said the programme would provide opportunity for Chief Peter Ameh “to unveil his vision, mission and program for his constituency”, urged members of the council to attend the occasion.

Our Correspondent reports that the programme represents the determination of members of the fourth estate of the realm in the state to contrubute their quota towards ensuring peaceful and credible general elections, come 2023.
