2023: Comrade Abubakar sues for unity in Kogi LP, candidates

The State Chairman of NLC/TUC, mobilisation committee,Comrade I. A. Abubakar, has appealed to all support groups for both it’s presidential candidate and labour party in Kogi state to avoid unnecessary strive.

He made the call on Tuesday in lokoja while addressing state support groups of the party in the state.

According to him, the appeal became necessary in order for the candidates and the party to make their impact felt in the 2023 general elections.

Comrade Abubakar also appealed to members to act in one accord by seeing themselves as one big family.

The chairman of the committee told the gathering that a million man match that is being prepared for the party presidential candidate in the state will come up on the 1st October 2022.

The committee, according to him, has the backing of all the suffering masses of the country, noting that all hands should be on deck for the success of the project.

Our Correspondent reports that all the various state support group coordinators and chairmen for both labour party and Peter Obi,the presidential candidate, attendedthe meeting.

Our reports reports that the meeting is expected to mobilize it’s members across the 21 local government areas in the state for the success of the candidates and the party.
