New Academic calendar out in Kogi —Official

Kogi State Ministry Of Education Science and Technology on Monday, released New Academic Calendar For Schools In the State for 2022/2023 academic session.

The Commissioner in charge of the Ministry, Mr Wemi Jones,made the release in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Yakubu Dele Musa in Lokoja.

According to Wemi, the first term starts on September 25 to December 16, 2022, adding that first term holiday comes up on December 19, 2022 to January 6,2023.

According to the new academic calendar, second term activities will start on January 9, 2023 to April 7, 2023.

The commissioner also said that second term holiday would begin on April 10,2023 and ends May 5, 2023, pointing out that third term would start on May 8,2023 and ends on the July 23, 2023.

He urged all public and private schools to adhere to the calendar.
