President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the reconstitution of the Membership of the Governing Body of the National Anti-Doping Committee (NADC) for the next four years.
Mohammed Manga Sports Ministry’s Director ofPress and Public Relations,in a statement in Abuja on Thursday,a copy of which was made available to The Reporters,said the move followed the expiration of the four year tenure of the out gone members on January 8, 2022.
“This is with a view to ensuring that Nigeria’s sports remains drug free and Nigeria maintains a clean international record in the war against drug abuse”,he said.
According to him, the reconstitution of the new Body has become necessary in order to strengthen the anti-doping structure in the country, consequent upon the recent anti-doping crisis that brought out fragile national anti-doping administration to undesired tolimelight.

b. Dr Femi Ayorinde
c. Barrister Emmanuel Omuku
d. Dr Godfrey Odigie
e. Alhaji Mainasara Ilo
f. Dr. Akinlotan Olusegun
g. Omolewa Aduke
h. Representative of NAFDAC
I. Ms Fadeke – CEO, Anti-Doping Unit/Secretary”, Manga further revealed.
