Kogi muslim pilgrims arrive Nigeria, join families on Tuesday

Kogi State pilgrima who attended the 2022 holy pilgrimage to Makkah and Madinah arrived Nigeria via Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Monday while most of them are expected to join families in the various local government areas of the state as from Tuesday.

A reliable source from the state Muslim Pilgrims Commission told our correspondent in lokoja on Monday in a telephone interview.

The husband to one of pilgrims, who spoke to The Reporters on the condition of anonymous, said,” I am glad to inform you (our Correspondent) that Hajia,who is among pilgrims from Kogi State that attended this year Hajji to Makkah and Madinah will arrive Lokoja on Tuesday, insha Allah.

“We are making adequate preparation for her reception on Wednesday in Lokoja,”insha Allah.”

Our Correspondent recall that pilgrims from the state are among 43,000 pilgrims that attended the holy pilgrimage this year.
