Kogi Assembly approves N3b for government to borrow to fund NG-CARES projects

Kogi State House of Assembly has approved for the state government to borrow N3 billion to fund NG-CARES , projects in the state.

The Reporters gathered that the approval followed the considerations of the letter sent to the Assembly by Governor Yahaya Bello, requesting it to approve the said amount for the funding of the world bank assisted projects, through the Nigeria COVID-19 Action Recovery And Economic Stimulus NG-CARES.

The Assembly said the facility would be taken from zenith bank,adding that repayment would be done on monthly basis from the state allocation on Frontline charge.
