The voters, in separate interview with our Correspondent in Ado-Ekiti said some persons, believed to be working for politicians, suddenly arrived various polling centres to offer money to those of them on queue, with intents to induce them.
They, however, said such offers were not done in the open, as it used to be in the past, apparently to avoid attention of eagled-eye security men on duty.
According to them,a willing prospective voter would be quietly invited by politicians in such trade to a corner, a little far away from the voting unit, to collect such money.
They singled out Ikole,-Ekiti, a historic town in the state for the prevalence among other areas where such development was prevalent.
They alleged that a minimum of between N5,000, N7,000 and N10,000, or more, was shared to voters ready to sell their voting right for a fee.
A voter and former member of the State House of Assembly, who spoke on condition of anonymity, confirmed the development in Ikole-Ekiti, saying monies were indeed shared by some party loyalists, whose identities or parties he declined to mention.
