Our Correspondent also reports that most of the stakeholders in the exercise expressed satisfaction over the peaceful conduct of the electíon and the enthusiasm shown by the electorate in honouring their civic responsibility.

The online publication further reports that 16 governorship candidates participated in the exercise which is expected to produce one of them to take over the mantle of leadership from Governor Kayode Fayemi who is in his second term.

The orderliness of the exercise notwithstanding, some political agents were arrested by EFCC operatives for vote-buying.
