MSME Forum to be involved in Future Economic Development Plan in Nigeria–Agba

The Minister of State, Finance, Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Agba, has promised to involve MSME Forum in preparing National Development plan document.

Prince Agba gave the indication when the executive members of the Forum and five BOT members,led by Alhaji Garba Ibrahim Gusau, paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Abuja.

The Minister of State said he was pleased with the Forum’s presentation on Sustainable Framework for Nigeria’s Economic Growth and Development and assured his willingness to work with the Forum by signing an MoU that addresses the key prayers that were made to the Ministry in the Technical Paper presentation at the session.

He noted that he heard of the Forum for the first time and assured that MSME Forum would be part of the organisations that would work on the review of the National Economic Development Plan document for Nigeria in the future.

Prince Agba also gave his word that the Forum would be invited for stakeholder programnes that are MSME related and carried along in its activities and opportunities in the future.

The MSME forum presentation by the Chairman, technical committee, Mr Joseph Attah, focussed on Sustainable MSME framework for Nigeria’s economic growth and development.

Mr Attah confirmed to our Correspondent that the MOU with the Ministry had been developed and ready for submission next week.

Also on the entourage were three Commodities Associations: Sunflower, Ginger and Rice.
