Adavi/Okehi patriotic youths vow to purchase nomination form for Hon. Ishaq Asuku Ilyas

The man of the moment, Hon. Ishaq Asuku Ilyas formally stormed his home town in grand style on Tuesday, 5th April, 2022 with his mammoth crowd of supporters across Adavi and Okehi LGAs, to interface with them and distribute Ramadan packages to his people with a view to formally answer their call to represent them at the House of Representatives, come 2023.

The love shown by the good people of Adavi/Okehi constituency is a testimony of his humble and humane attitude towards his people.
He later urged his teeming supporters to go all out and engage in a developmental based campaign, devoid of rancour and acrimony, verbal and media abuses.

Among his stated agenda are grassroots development, child education, women emancipation, among others.

He further reiterated his commitment towards infrastructural development across his constituents and appealed for cooperation and support.

The event was witnessed by a large turnout of supporters from Adavi, Ihima and Eika axis of kogi central comprising of party chieftains, traditional rulers, religious leaders, women and youths.

The high point of the event was the distribution of food stuffs and other essential items to his people across the constituents.

The patriotic youths of Adavi/Okehi constituency, in response,thanked Hon. Ishaq Asuku Ilyas for answering their clarion call, assuring of their vow to purchase nomination form for their leader, irrespective of the political party.

They expressed their resolve to vote him massively during the forthcoming general elections in 2023.

They noted that during the last general elections in 2019 when he wanted to contest for the state House of Assembly under Adavi LGA, they showed him love and supported him wholeheartedly.

According to them Hon. Ilyas eventually invited by our Governor Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello to step down for Hon. OKADIBO, who is currently serving, adding that he was never discouraged despite his investment in the party.

The youths described Him Ilyas as a leader with listening ears, a selfless one, and a philanthropist and was part of the party success in the last general election,

The youths said Hon.Ilyas has been tested and trusted, stressing that they “we want him now to go to the green chamber to represent us”. Thank you for answering our call as quoted by the President of the forum.
