VP expresses shock over death of kogi born famous shoemaker .

The Vice President,Prof. Yemi Osinbajo,has expressed shock over the death of Ojima Omale, (28), better known as OJ Best and famous for shoemaking who died at the weekend.

Osinbajo said he was deeply saddened by the demise of the “young enterprising shoemaker and friend”.

The Vice President,in a statement on Monday, described the deceased as “talented, creative and dedicated to his craft.”

“I never ceased to be impressed by his exertions for perfection in his products.

“I and many members of my team, for whom he also made shoes, will miss him, his services and unfailing good humour.

“Our thoughts are with his family as we pray that God will comfort them. May his memory remain blessed. Amen,”he added.

According to family sources, OJ Best, an indigene of Kogi State, will be buried in his hometown, Ijessi-Igo, Ofu Local Government Area of the State on Thursday.

The Reporters recalls that the deceased was a footwear maker who made headlines after the Vice President invited him to presidential villa during which he bought shoes from him.
