Breaking:Uneasy calm sets in Kwara poly

The Commissioner of Police in Kwara state,CP Tuesday Assayomo,has dispatched personnel of the command to the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin to restore peace, following an easy calm at the institution on Saturday.

The Police Public Relations Officer PPRO for the Police Command in the state,SP Ajayi Okasami, disclosed this in a telephone interview with The Reporters from Lokoja.

In a text Okasanmi said:” There is presently an ongoing security situation around Kwara Polytechnic gate, CP Tuesday Assayomo has detailed detachment of police operatives to the area to restore calm.

” The immediate and the remote cause or causes of the situation is yet to be ascertained, detailed report will be released as soon as it becomes clearer,”
