Our Correspondent in Abuja reports that the super market, said to belong to a former governor in eastern part of the country and located on the kado area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), went in flame on Sunday morning.

Details as to the possible cause of the inferno remained sketchy as at the time of this report but personnel of the Federal Fire Service were seen making efforts to save the inferno from spreading to other part structures in the area.

An eyewitness told The Reporters that”, Nobody around this area really knows what happened to the supermarket. All I can say for now is that, we just saw a huge flame coming out of this big structure and it started burning.”

However, the supermarket suffers serious damage.
