The Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) has issued certificate of return to the Governor-elect of Anambra State, Professor Charles Soludo and his Deputy Governor-elect, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim on Friday in Awka.

Dr Nkwachukwu Orji, the Resident Electoral Commissioner(REC) in the state, presented the certificate to Soludo and Ibezim.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, REC stressed the need for the Governor-elec to ensure good governance.

Soludo, who won the last Saturday’s governorship election, having garnered the highest votes, had earlier dedicated his victory to the people of Anambra, adding that it was a fulfilment of a devine journey that came to fruition after more than 10 years of struggle and endurance.
