Eesa of Omu-Aran, Chief Jide Adebayo, buried amid wailing, encomiums

The late Eesa of Omu-Aran, Chief Jide Adebayo (66), who died in a Lagos hospital, recently, during an illness was on Saturday buried in his home town, Omuaran in Kwara State.

 

Our Correspondent reports that the burial of the late prime minister of OmuAran traditional institution was characterised by wailing and encomiums, given the calibre of personality of the departed veteran Journalist, administrator and former acting managing director of the News Agency of Nigeria(NAN), the largest news agency in Africa.
