Embattled former chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Uche Secondus on Friday, lost the battle aimed at stopping the national convention of PDP from holding on October 30 and 31.

This is because the Appeal Court in Port Harcourt, Rivers State has granted the party the right to hold the national convention.

Tayo Oyetibo (SAN),Sevondus’counsel, had in an appeal marked CP/PH/339/202 sought an order of injunction restraining the PDP, its officers and representatives from holding or conducting the national convention on Saturday and Sunday, or any other date, pending the hearing and final determination of the appeal.

The online publication recalls that Secondus has been on feud with the Governor of River state,Nyesom Wike

Justice Gabriel Kolawale delivered the ruling on behalf of two other justices on Friday with the three-man panel dismissing, the appeal, filed on October 14,2021,the appeal for lacking in merit.
