By Correspondent in Abuja.

The Niger Delta Good Governance, (NDGG), has described the accusations against the Minister of Niger Delta, God’swill Akpabio by a United States-based blogger and former presidential aide, Mr. Jackson Ude as ‘completely nonsensical’, with a promise to embark on his extradition from U.S.

The group made this known through a statement signed by Ifeoma Okolie in Abuja, adding that Ude’s “continuous indictment” of the Minister of Niger Delta, God’swill Akpabio and other well-meaning Nigerians must stop.

According to Okolie, the Niger Delta Gogroup frowned at the story by Jackson Ude against Senator Godswill Akpabio, that he squandered “an imaginary N215 billion” of NDDC money and went ahead to rent room 409 in Hilton Transcorp hotel for a weekend enjoyment with a lady named Blessing Ossom.

Okolie, who further refuted some of the the allegations levelled on certain government officials by the blogger said that all accusation by Ude were unfounded.

“Jackson Ude falsely maligned the Honourable Minister that he gave the said Ossom 50k Usd to criticize Gov Udom Emmanuel on social media with one Zion Umoh.

“Meanwhile, available record shows that Sen Akpabio is officially out of Nigeria as many saw him boarding Lufhanza flight on 2nd September 2021, the same day he submitted the NDDC Forensic Audit reports to Mr President through the office of the Attorney General of the Federation Abubakar Mallami SAN.

“This is the same Jackson Ude who has been adjudged by a court of competent jurisdiction of blackmailing Okonjo-Iweala,the ex Minister of Finance with false and fraudulent allegations.

“Though lady Ossom has denied the allegation against her, stating that Sen.Akpabio never gave her any money as alleged by Jackson Ude, one wonders when Security services will bring Jackson Ude to Justice, to face Criminal defamation of character charges.

“Jackson Ude fled Nigeria to United States of America after Okonjo Iweala obtained judgement against him for false and criminal publications against her. This time, he has gone on the prowl against the Minister of the Niger Delta.

“Jackson Ude continues unabated to publish fake stories against Nigerians from his US base, believing justice cannot reach him in USA. Publishing without conscience and without any iota of proof that, a Minister defrauded NDDC of a bogus N215B which is completely nonsensical in all ramifications. How much is the budget of NDDC?

The group disclosed that it would embark on the process of extraditing the U.S based blogger, to stop him from publishing defamatory statements against Nigerians.

“We will embark on a process to ask for the extradition of Jackson Ude so he will stop his mischief from the United States of America under the cover of Point Blank News and other social media blogs”, Group said.
