Mrs Lubabatu Ibrahim, a 25- year-old house wife og Rigasa area of Kaduna, on Tuesday, told a Sharia Court that she was no longer comfortable with her husband lasting two minutes in bed with her.

She disclosed this when she approached the court, seeking a divorce with her husband, Habibu Ibrahim.

Lubabatu said though her union with Ibrahim produced a child, only two minutes in bed with Ibrahim was not satisfactory to her.

She also informed the court that her husband had mental challenges, adding that he had been experiencing convulsion, a development she noted, made him to start shouting at midnight and destroying items he could lay hands on.

According to Lubabatu,”He doesn’t last long in bed; he spends only two minutes during sex.I have advised him to seek medical help but he refused”, adding that she said she was fed up with her husband’s mental challenges.

Responding, the husband, who did not dispute his wife’s assertion, however said he was seeking medical attention by going to a psychiatric hospital as well as seeking herbal medicine.

Ibrahim said, he still loved his wife and would not like their marriage dissolved.

The Judge, Malam Salisu Abubakar-Tureta, therefore, ordered the couple to present their guardians in court on Sept. 21 when they were expected to appear before the court.
