Barely two weeks after an articulated vehicle belonging to a cement manufacturing company in Kogi state and a tricycle, popularly called kekenapep, had head on collision on the Ganaja road in Lokoja, another ghastly accident has occurred on the road involving similar vehicles.

Investigation by our Correspondent showed that the autocrash occurred in the wee hours of Tuesday.

The Correspondent of The Reporters, an online news medium, who visited the scene of the accident (the 200 unit junction of the road)on Wednesday morning reports, that the kekenapep was spotted stuck to the articulated vehicle.

Though our Correspondent could not confirm if the accident involved loss of life, sources suggest that given the level of damaged done to the tricycle, it will take the grace of God for the occupants to survive.

They added that the survivors,if any, would have to cope with serious injuries in the hospital by now.

Some of the sympathisers who spoke with our Correspondent on the issue, described accidents on the road, especially those involving tricycles and articulated vehicles on as becoming worrisome begging for more timely solution.

They called on the federal government and the contractors rehabilitating the road to redouble efforts to complete the less 10-kilometre road they started November last year.

The Reporters recalls that the previous accident claimed four lives.
