Kwara APC Congress takes off peacefully amid heavy turnout

Ward Congress has taken off peacefully and orderly across various parts of Kwara State with thousands of party loyalists, INEC officials, APC representatives from Abuja, lawmakers and government appointees participating, The Reporters reports.

Our Correspondent reports on Saturday that, videos and photos from various parts of the state showed mammoth crowd of party members attending the event.

Reports from Adewole Ward,where Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq hails from to Alanamu and Ajikobi in Ilorin West to Ifelodun in Kwara South and Kaiama in Kwara North showed a rancour-free exercise as at the time of this report.

The online publication further reports the exercise is being presided over by APC officials and closely monitored by INEC representatives in line with the law while party loyalists were still awaiting officials in a few other places.
