Breaking:Another tragedy befalls families of Kogi kidnapped pharmacist

The families of yet to be released by his abductors, the Managing Director of an Okene-based pharmaceutical outfit, Abdulazeez Obajimoh, have lost his mother in law and her son to the cold hands of death.

Our Correspondent in Okene reports that the deceased, Hajia Abiodun Lamidi and her son, Ohida,lost their lives during a motorcycle accident at Ebogogo quarters of Okene on Monday,in search of funds to be given to Kidnappers any time they call and demand for ransom for the release of Abdulazeez.

The online publication gathered that the rider of the commercial motorcycle they were in was trying to avoid hitting a goat crossing road when the motorcycle fell and the victims sustained serious injuries.

The late Hajia Abiodun was said to have died shortly after the accident due to injury she sustained while her son, who sustained head injury and was taken to hospital in Okene died at about 5 a.m on Tuesday.

She was buried in Okene according to muslim rites while efforts were on commit her son to mother earth, as at the time of this report.

Many of the sympathisers who spoke with the online media outfit appealed to abductors to release Abdulazeez, in view of the latest tragedy that visited the family as well as for the sake of humanity, sympathy and a remark of respect for the dead.

Our Correspondent reports that family members are not just mourning the demise of their matriach and her don,but bemoaning their kidnapped member and urged the Kidnappers to release him, to lessen the burden of psychological trauma they were going through.

Obajimoh was Kidnapped by gun-trotting abductors at about 3 p.m, more than a week ago and made him to trek from his office to the outskirt of the town, where they were said to have secured a vehicle at gun point and drove with him to an unknown destination.

Meanwhile, hundreds of sympathisers, in and outside Okene, have continued to troop to the residence of the deceased at Nagazi quarters to condole with the family.
