Breaking: Kidnappers free traditional ruler, keep others

The Emir of Kajuru,Kajuru Local Government area of Kaduna State, Alhaji Alhassan Adamu,who was Kidnapped in his palace few days ago along with some members of his family, has regained freedom.

Dahiru Abubakar a member of the kingmakers of the Emirate Council, confirmed the cheering development to the press.

The online publication gathered that the traditional ruler was released on Monday afternoon, following the demand of N200 million as ransom by the kidnappers for his release and 10 of his family members they kidnapped along with him.

Abubakar, was however,mute as to whether the Kidnappers eventually get the N200 million ransom or not before releasing the 85-year-old second class traditional ruler.

Sources said only the emir,who was released but the bandits kept other abductees, was said to have spoken with his subjects on his return from the Kidnapper’s den.

Some parts of North West Nigeria have been having it though with the activities of Kidnappers fielding fat on their unsuspecting victims and raking millions of naira as ransom from families of their victims, including students.
