On the ground to his receive the president and his entourage was the Governor of the state, Professor Babagana Zulum and other important dignitaries.
The online publication recalls that the governor, in a statewide broadcast on Tuesday, had called on the people of the state to accord the president with massive reception.
The governor ordered that all markets to remain closed during the visit of the president until his departure.
One of the projects scheduled for commission by Buhari is the new Vocational Training Centere located at Njimtilo, a community on the outskirts of Maiduguri, where he commissioned the project as well as the new Borno State University, where he also commissioned the Senate Building among others.
