Why we want TB Joshua buried in Arigidi-Traditional ruler

The traditional ruler of Arigidi Akoko in Ondo state, Oba Yisa Olanipekun, says his wish and that of his people is to see Prophet Temitope Joshua, the founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), who died few days ago in Lagos buried in Arigidi, his native land.

Oba Olanipekun who expressed this while speaking at Arigidi, said other clerics were buried in their home town, citing Prophet Moses Orimolade who was buried in his Ikare, hometown.

Oba Olanipekun added that burying TB Joshua in Arigidi would ensure that his philanthropic legacy would remain in the heart of the people of the town.

He said the late Joshua touched many lives in every nook and cranny of Akoko land positively, adding that the value of the deceased on many lives would remain indelible in the many minds

Enumerating the impact of the late Joshua to humanity, the traditional ruler recalled,“He would bring rice to the people, whenever we requested

“He hated to see people go hungry. He was instrumental to the electrification of many communities in Akoko land after years of darkness,” the monarch said. (The Nation).

Oba Olanipekun,however, expressed regret that the late religious leader could not complete the university project he started in Arigidi.
